After my last post on Week 2, Run 3 where I had a really hard run today I expected worst but I'm glad to say I got through it. Perhaps not with flying colours but I did it and very happy that I did. The answer - Pace! And the trick to managing that? Slower music :-)

So was this run W3 R1?

Well done! Was the first 3 minute run a killer?

I’m nervous/excited for it!

No really, I rigidly stuck to a slower pace and that helped greatly. The second I think was a touch faster and I felt a bit out of breath on finishing it but overall, a good experience and feeling good after it

🙌🏼 I’m looking forward to it!

I had to stop listening to the podcasts as the running music made me run way too fast and I couldn’t breath! Atm I run in silence as I don’t want it to happen again 🤣

Choose some slower music but research it first. I don't like running without music as I'm still a newbie and my body isn't really into the swing of it yet so music is a really good mood balancer.
