Iβm so pleased that I have managed to coax my grumbling back through to my third graduation! π Now to consolidate without illness or injury for the first time...π
Re-graduation! : Iβm so pleased that I have... - Couch to 5K
Re-graduation!
Congratulations on completing c25k you must be so pleased well done ππππ
There are a number of people who have repeated C25K as many as 3 times, it's usually after a break from running for over 3 or 4 months, congratulations to you Elfe5 on completing C25K for a 3rd time, I just hope this time you won't have any back problems.
Well done Elfe! Happy consolidation running again! You can do this!
Yay ! Go you ! π₯βοΈβοΈβοΈ
Thank you- good to hear from you, how are you doing? Xx
Congratulations Elfe, - keeping everything crossed for you consolidation runs. Hope you manage to stay off the IC permanently now. Iβm working my own way towards graduation number 3 currently but itβs one step forward one step back to IC at the moment, will get there eventually. Happy Running and Happy New Year when it comes. π
Thank you very much! π
I really sympathise with the βone step forward and one back β scenario - I have done a lot of that over the last 18 months. Go gently & keep listening to your body. I have long since come to two conclusions...
1. Run as you can, not as you canβt.
2. Assuming you can run... some running, however limited, is better than no running. π
You keep tiptoeing off that IC, Iβll be cheering you on. π
Yay! Many congratulations! We must be due a VRB meet up soon!
I look forward to that!π
I intend a few weeks of consolidation & then gradually build up one run of the week towards 45mins - Parkrun will take me about that I reckon.
At the moment, my back starts getting sore after 25 mins, so Iβm proceeding with caution - keeping off the IC & running is the biggest priority right now! π
Brilliant!!!! Itβs such a great feeling and good consolidating! π
Good stuff, Iβm about to start my first consolidation run this weekend, and Iβm a bit nervous about going it alone! Have just got a womenβs running book with warm up and cool down programs as felt I was winging it a bit with my warm up routine previously! Weβll see how it goes, sure iβll be fine once I get goingπ€Good luck with your runs tooπ
I did various things to help myself the first time I graduated ( & before injury π)...
I made a playlist of extra favourite music so every track made me smile & want to dance along. I tried new routes - really helpful. Sometimes I re- used the W9 run to have Laura keeping me on track.
Enjoy your consolidation runs - lots of choices! π
