There are a number of people who have repeated C25K as many as 3 times, it's usually after a break from running for over 3 or 4 months, congratulations to you Elfe5 on completing C25K for a 3rd time, I just hope this time you won't have any back problems.

Will do ! I’ve done the first two runs. Such a joy to get them done first time out instead of all those repeats πŸ˜€

Congratulations Elfe, - keeping everything crossed for you consolidation runs. Hope you manage to stay off the IC permanently now. I’m working my own way towards graduation number 3 currently but it’s one step forward one step back to IC at the moment, will get there eventually. Happy Running and Happy New Year when it comes. 😊

Thank you very much! πŸ˜„

I really sympathise with the β€œone step forward and one back β€œ scenario - I have done a lot of that over the last 18 months. Go gently & keep listening to your body. I have long since come to two conclusions...

1. Run as you can, not as you can’t.

2. Assuming you can run... some running, however limited, is better than no running. πŸ˜„

You keep tiptoeing off that IC, I’ll be cheering you on. πŸ˜„

Yay! Many congratulations! We must be due a VRB meet up soon!

I look forward to that!πŸ˜„

I intend a few weeks of consolidation & then gradually build up one run of the week towards 45mins - Parkrun will take me about that I reckon.

At the moment, my back starts getting sore after 25 mins, so I’m proceeding with caution - keeping off the IC & running is the biggest priority right now! πŸ˜„

Good stuff, I’m about to start my first consolidation run this weekend, and I’m a bit nervous about going it alone! Have just got a women’s running book with warm up and cool down programs as felt I was winging it a bit with my warm up routine previously! We’ll see how it goes, sure i’ll be fine once I get going🀞Good luck with your runs tooπŸ‘

I did various things to help myself the first time I graduated ( & before injury πŸ™„)...

I made a playlist of extra favourite music so every track made me smile & want to dance along. I tried new routes - really helpful. Sometimes I re- used the W9 run to have Laura keeping me on track.

Enjoy your consolidation runs - lots of choices! πŸ˜„
