Set off 0800 before breakfast and first 12.5 mins were fine. Then nagging calf pain started in one leg which threw me somewhat but I decided to keep going and see what happened. Weirdly it just disappeared, so carried on at my usual snail pace.
It was all fine in the end with the last minute done faster as suggested by Michael. What would I do without that bloke??? Music was a random Spotify selection of Highland jigs and Gaelic renditions showing my roots and a bit incongruous for South Coast running but it cheered me along to the point of singing badly on the cool down walk π. Makes a change from heavy metal π.
All completed- no slacking!

π€£π€£wish I could meet these other happy runners.. the ones I see donβt even nod!! Its lovely to know that I have fab support here. Thank you π.
Well done you, doing so brilliantly π. Maybe those non-nodding runners aren't lucky enough to be following this programme and are really struggling and would fall over if their balance was disrupted by nodding, or perhaps they want to look cool!! πI often wonder if any of the very slow (smiley) runners I see are doing C25K...... Haven't met any singers yet, but have definitely felt like breaking into a tune or 2 πΆ in amazement at the ability to speed up for that last minute. πββοΈπΊ
...... Fleetwood Mac, 'Don't StopThinking about Tomorrow'....... πββοΈπ. Did think back, however and thought, Wow! what a long way we've come. And thinking, yes, it IS getting better!
Random music choices are brilliant Nymahchai! Yours sound really good - mine can be equally random ranging from old folk tunes through toSpringsteen via everyone else! Enjoy week 7 - not far to go now!
Thank you tooπ. I love old folk tunes and Rock, chart stuff and everything else too! Simple Minds is on repeat at the moment . Not far to go now.. I am mostly running with 2 day intervals but that seems to suit. Good luck to you too π
