R1 done :) straight in from work, change running gear on and out , light rain bit windy,do I care no !!

It was one of better early evening runs for a change :D only 1 slight blight, about 21 mins dam lace comes undone,oh no do we go all elf and safety and stop and do it up?

Do we NOT, carry on running nothing is going to stop me completing a run tonight :)

1 down 2 to go :D

All my work colleagues are suitably impressed at the 25min running :D as they all know 8 months ago i didnt runa nywhere let alone walk for more than an few minutes to the smoking area and used the lift, now we walk up the stairs at work even starting to bound up 2 steps at a time :D what has this program done to me :D :D

Well done Rob...knew you could do it!! :-) Really does feel good now... I'm sure that you have also seen improvements to your overall health... I know I have.

I'm just back in from my W7R2 and mine went well. At the end of the 25 mins I could see my house so I just kept going... clocked up 29min 30secs in the end without a major problem... Hope you also agree that after clocking up a couple of 25mins then a 28 and 30 shouldn't be out of the question.

Hope you get your shoe laces sorted out ready for your next run... I would have kept running as well!! I just had a avoid a huge tractor tonight. :-)

Thanks Andy and well done on your R2 :D Im my case it is other people saying how well i look :d i know am fitter and healthier and the 25min runs ceratinly make me think 28 + 30 are very acheivable :D

Definitely a double knot on thursday :D

Well done Rob, youre going great guns and taking no prisoners ! :-)

Oh damn shoelaces ,yep I agree they are a menace. I tie mine too tight, then my feet go numb, so then I loosen them , then they come undone. I always have to stop though when they came undone. I have visions of going a*rse over t*t if I don't .

The changes this programme makes are amazing aren't they ? Whod've thought it ? Well done on packing the fags in, can you imagine ever doing this whilst you smoked ? I cant , I think my lungs would've exploded :-D

Good Luck for the rest of Week 7, onwards Rob, onwards ! :-) xxx

Thank you so much poppy :D i had those visions of me but I wasnt going to stop :D

It is amazing poppy , there would be no way you could do it justice if smoking ,kinda what would the point be to carry on smoking and trying to run .

I have made a few changes over the last 8 months and really feeling the benefits now :D still think i will wake up and it is all a dream ,me running ?? and for 25 mins or more :D

No doubt all your work colleagues have been looking into this c25k business, checking it out for themselves - if your reading this come out of the wood work and say hi. It turns you into healthier version of yourself !! Well done and that graduation tunnel is firmly in sight now!!

in reply toVixchile

Thanks Vixchile :D graduation is very close now :D which really is hard to beleive , where has the last 6 or 7 weeks gone :D

It reminds me of a Daft punk song, harder, better, faster, stronger :D

Wonderful! I hope youv'egiven up on the cigs as well, because that it really vital. Perhaps have a peep on the British Lung Foundation forum. There are plenty of people who give up on smoking and you can have their support, lovely bunch.

thanks i stopped just over 8 months ago :D
