Well in spite of my Fitbit bleating about low battery and my geeky worry that my run wouldn’t be received on Strava, and all sorts of other real or perceived hurdles, I ventured out and ran for 30 mins on Pedders Way this morning.
Coach Laura would have berated me for periodic stops to steady my breath but I sidestepped the puddles, cursed the hilly bits (aka a slight rise in elevation) and avoided slipping on the boardwalks and kept it up for 30mins so I was well pleased!
More effort and consolidation needed before I could do a proper Parkrun I suspect but 3 months ago I struggled with running 90secs so C25K has been brilliant!
Roll on Thursday for my next run!!
Cheers!

Well spotted! Holme Dunes actually as we were staying at an Airbnb for a couple of nights. It wasn’t sand tbh... more compacted limestone. Very wet in many places so it was tricky to avoid puddles and really soggy bits of ground. Good fun tho and a change from my usual run in rural Northants.
