I wasn’t feeling it this morning, but knew I had to do it so off I went. I thought the first 5 min run would never end. Anyway, got through it and now feeling good, if a bit achy. Stretching done, and I have one of those massage sticks being delivered later - a new toy! Have a good day folks 👍😁

It astonished me that Run 3 was the easiest run of Week 6 - I found it much better than expected and was glad to see the back of the intervals! Not something I would ever have believed at the start of the programme... 😂
Well done and I admire you for getting on and getting out there 👍plus a great pace and distance too. I've done the complete opposite today and rescheduled for tomorrow.... weather foul and too many things to get done today (I know, excuses excuses 😉). Looks like it will be a first treadmill joffle tomorrow as the weather looks even worse!!!🌧☔🌧
I do too, and I’ve seen people post about doing them even though they haven’t finished the plan yet. I think all levels of ability do them and part walk and part run. Go for it! 🏃🏽♂️
I did my first park run last Saturday and incorporated W4R3 then jeffre the rest. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to doing another. It doesn't matter if you walk, run or a mixture of the two. Everyone there is really encouraging and supportive of everyone. It's about getting out on the fresh air and keeping as fit as possible. Go for it. X
It’s called a roller massage stick - a bit like a foam roller but on a smaller scale. It has handles at each end, and whirly wheel type thingys inbetween, and you run it up and down muscles, like your hamstrings, to help stretch them out. Can be very painful if you press too hard 😫
Well done on getting out there.....especially if you weren’t feeling it ❤️❤️ How are you getting on with your new trainers Wenderwoo? I still need to get some.....Cx
They’re good, though I haven’t worn them for the last 2 runs. Where I run tends to flood so Friday I decided to wear my old shoes, and I’m glad I did as was running through some very deep puddles! I ended up squelching home, and it wasn’t much better today 💦😁
Every night, calves, shins, hamstrings, IT band (that one is tricky and requires some contortions) even if I only do a couple of minutes its pretty much every day and longer on days with harder workouts 👍🏻
