SENIOR MOMENT

Finished my run in the rain this morning. Found it quite hard and when Michael said ‘ you have 60 seconds to go, don’t give up now’ I said ‘why would I?’

Completed my cool down and accidentally swiped Mike off the screen instead of my music! ( I think I can call him Mike now - I feel that we’re good friends after all we’ve been through ) BUT I WANTED TO SAVE MY RUN! I tried to go back in but couldn’t remember which run I was on 🤦‍♀️ What a blessing that I’d given myself a hint in my last post!

So......my next run is R3W5 😂 (just in case)

Great you've now completed wk5r2. Of course your trainer is your friend as he is with you all the way like all of us . Well done you 😊😊

Well done you, sounds like a great run even with the technical hitch!

I remember being quite rude to Michael and never called him Mike I think i called him “shut the ..... up” once or twice

You are doing great carry on running and being happy

Does Michael let you down? He’s let me down twice. Yesterday, week 6 run 2 second 10 minute run he said ‘you’ve 5 minutes left’, then 4 minutes later said it again and had added another 4 minutes on! Is it just me? Certainly led to some salty language from me. Perhaps time for a new phone?

Yes he totally abandoned us on one run and it was strange waiting for him

I got a running watch 5 days ago, so I use that as a backup to Michael. I've finished the intervals now (I hope!) so can use the watch to time the runs and Michael can just chip in when he's good and ready! I'm new to running, but certainly enjoying this forum, and the running gadgets.

I check my fitbit and a voice chips in every 1k which is nice now we are finished with Michael, this forum is brilliant it gives us a chance tell others what we’ve been doing and to have little chats about running too
