So tonight was my group run with the 'athletes' lol they all zoom off as usual leaving ploddy (me) in their dust. I am totally unprepared tonight no app no stop watch so I just run n run n run. Prolly ran for 10 mins before realising should take a little break but not too long just in case lol. Week 5 run 1 turned into more of a run 2 from what I can guestimate. Going prepared next week with the podcast all ready to go n water lots of water can't believe forgot the water!!

I forget everything ( and I did tonight ) but I never forget my water !!!! ;-)

Doesn't sound a very supportive group - does no one hang back to support the slower runners?

Do they not turn back for you? You shouldn't need water when doing c25k, as long as your already well hydrated, and it's not exactly blisteringly hot at the moment!😊

They usually run half way then turn round n run back for me but tonight they ploughed on. They promised to run back next week though. Don't usually take water on the run just have it ready at the finish to cool me down n rehydrate. Had to wait till I'd walked home tonight. Not really a big thing just gave me grumbles after forgetting everything else tonight lol at least didn't forget my running socks forgot them once n ended up with a load of blisters I'm convinced they make a huge difference

Did you run?

Did you enjoy it?

If you answered "yes" to both questions, all the rest doesn't matter. 😉

Yes Secan I did enjoy it n am actually looking forward to my 20 min run this week. I totally feel like I can do it now, so different from what I was like 5 weeks ago was sure I'd never get this far. Sure the couch to 5k community is keeping me going with all the support n stories everyone posts
