Just thought I'd let you guys know that I finished my seventh ParkRun at the weekend with my first time sub-30
ParkRun #1 - 36:32 (week 8 c25k)
ParkRun #2 - 34:03 (week 9 c25k)
ParkRun #3 - 34:29 (week 10 c25k)
ParkRun #4 - 31:49
Zombie Evacuation Race
ParkRun #5 - 31:45 (first time running without carrying water bottle)
ParkRun #6 - 30:31
ParkRun #7 - 29:48
With exception of the week where I did the Zombie Evacuation Race I've not missed a ParkRun, definitely caught the bug Getting slightly addicted to the Garmin too, I know I've still got a faster time in me.
Booked myself in for a 10k Mad Marsh Run at the end of April

Congratulations on getting a sub 30 minute 5k at parkrun, well done, nice seeing all the detail tines of all your parkrun times,
My PB for all the 5Ks I have ran, 8 Parkruns and many more elsewhere, mainly near to where I live is 30.55, that was not at my 'home parkrun', if I ever do get a sub 30 minute 5k it could be either near to where I live using my metromone beats a minute app at around 178 beats/steps a minute or at that parkrun where I got that PB, it's mainly flat compared to my regular one which is a bit hilly. 😊 🏃🏾
Well done. Its great when you record your progress, then you can see it down in black and white. Personally I've never done a park run. I always work Saturdays when they're on. I use my pacy run to record what my 5k is. Keep at it and just remember with your 10k you will have to pace yourself more. I would advise go slower and build yourself up. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
