I did it, sub 30.

Started C25K on 2nd August 2015, overweight and totally unfit. Completed it in the nine weeks and now ran 21 park runs. First Parkrun around 40mins. Today for the first time I managed a sub 30min time, 29mins 53secs, so chuft 😅.

Lost around 2 stone in weight and 3 inches of the waist. Not bad for someone that turns 60 next month.

I only run 3 times a week for about half hour each time, but it's doing wonders.

All I can say to all those that are just starting the C25K, or those that feel they are struggling, is keep going the rewards are fantastic.

It's hard to get out there but remember you feel great with a sense of achievement when you have finished.

Keep it up, it's good for you.

This post gives me great encouragement, I am starting week 4 on Monday, I'm following Weight watchers too and I hope the combined efforts of both will help me. Well done, what a fantastic achievement.

Thanks. Don't look to far ahead. Time will pass what ever you do. Keep it up as each small step adds up to a giant leap when you look back. It's worth it.
