Today all of my wildest dreams came true. After graduating from C25K in April, today at Parkrun, I ran sub 30 for the first time ever! I've been getting PB's over the last few weeks. Last week was 30.44 and today's was 29.44. Thanks to a pacer whose job it was to run 30 minutes. She actually apologised after for running too fast! What you may feel to be impossible is not impossible at all! Just go for it.

Wow, that is so amazing! I graduated in May and really want to do a sub 30 5k before New Years. I've been so close for a while (sub 31), but haven't been able to pull it off yet. Huge congratulations to you!ππ»πͺπ»π

Pacers at Parkruns definitely help. I wouldn't have done it otherwise. I can really enjoy the fancy dress parkrun on Christmas Eve now without worrying about times.

But to those who haven't done sub-30 (yet), sub-30 is just another milestone. My milestones started at 35, and proceeded in 15 seconds intervals, each one as difficult to reach as the last, and to be honest, my milestones just dwindle into insignificance when I see runners doing sub-18. But they are real to me!
So, I guess what I am trying to say is that everybody runs at different speeds and thus have different milestones, and that achieving a personal milestone is such a sense of satisfaction for everyone.
Wow, what a result. Congratulations.
Well done!!! Thats the spirit!!
