I graduated in April and those of you who know me will know how desperate I was for a sub 30 time. After a few weeks in July stuck at 31:33, I joined a running club and my times dropped over the first month. In September I got my first sub 30. Today, on my 34th ParkRun, in the hail and sleet, I got sub 29. 28:37 in fact. I’m over the moon. What a fantastic program C25K is! One of the best things I ever did was to start running. Another was to join club! I’m hoping to get to HM distance by my first runniversary in February. My first HM race is in Liverpool next May. What a difference 8 months make! Keep running everyone 🏃🏽♀️👌🏽

Superb job Tasha! Enjoy that HM training... and more parkruns... you’re not far off your 50 shirt!
That's fantastic Tasha99 and especially in such severe weather 😁
Wow, super speedy. You're a racer! Well done! I can't imagine doing a sub 30, and certainly not in those weather conditions 🌧
Congratulations Tasha! Enjoy the buzz that I hope you are feeling. Perhaps you are about to start your half term holiday as well, although perhaps you have just had it! Whichever, I hope the glow stays with you for a good while. Well one you!
Yay! Go Tasha! I managed a sub-30 minute Park Run a couple of weeks ago - great feeling isn't it! I also joined a running group in the summer after graduating in May. And I hope to run in the Hastings Half Marathon in March just after my first Runniversary. Yes isn't C25K great - I would never have believed I would be able to - or even want to - run a HM this time last year! Look what it has done to us!!! 😁🏃👍
