I can get up to exercise etc no problem at all, but I have all of the ironing to do and I need some inspiration to go do it, can anyone give me any?
Thought not! π
I can get up to exercise etc no problem at all, but I have all of the ironing to do and I need some inspiration to go do it, can anyone give me any?
Thought not! π
No.
I can barely remember where my iron is... to coin a phrase "ain't nobody got time for that!" ππ»π€£
I gave up ironing after my 3rd child was born
I used to iron my ex's work shirts but even that stopped 4 years ago with the divorce, so nope, but I can help motivate you to stop doing it
Trust you to pop up and inspire me to not do it when I am doing it, thanks! π
I aim to please
You are doing a great job of it ππ
better turn that iron off and save electricity - save the planet
don't type and iron - you'll burn your fingers
how'm I doing?
It's working, I just sat down...
Good job you.!
I'm working from home today
You are on your last "free" day today no?
I hope you found something to do other than ironing
Yes my last free day, I have to nip out but I haven't anything to do after lunch.
I hope you are working hard, no slacking!
of course!!
I hope someone is checking the creases on your ironing too
Flat out I bet!
Creases, what creases!
I'm alone for now so nobody can check my ironing..
my work is more mental than physical - sometimes I need distractions or music to get my brain to think about something while I leave it alone - it seriously works better that way lol
not sure what that says about me
What could possibly distract a dedicated worker like you! π
when I work in the office I have headphones on 90% of the time I'm more productive that way
So when you are in the office but not working which is probably 90% of the time, does your boss notice? ππ
my boss can see my screen the whole time - so he would notice if I didn't work
I am actually a productive little bunny 90% of the time
I am just trying to work out how to import contracts from 3 different legacy systems plus excel into a new system and make them all play nicely with each other, without the customers getting invoiced by the legacy system and the new system
Good luck with that!
I bet you are, what do you do the other 10%?
I pee - all that water I drink
Not the answer I expected but interesting nonetheless π³
I iron for weddings and funerals only! I find it a great timesaver π
I might do the same π
I donβt iron, Iβd rather run than iron, and thatβs saying something!
Thanks for that Wenderoo, seems I'm the only eejit on here that irons ππ
well you are "old school"
That's a good point, I'll maybe just have to change and become scruffy like the rest of yous π
Hang it out to dry right and you'll never know who ironed what after 30 mins of wearing it
Excellent, does it dry well in the rain? ππ
I used to know someone who would iron underpants... I KNOW!! I never iron except very special stuff and if my husband needs shirts for work then he can do his own damn ironing! In 40 years, no-one has called me up on it yet!
Early days, someone will call you up on it, just you wait. π
Let them try! They will get an ear full about my full time job, 2 dogs, directing a youth theatre and taking care of my very sick fathers finances for him. I barely have time to go to the loo, let alone iron!
Speaking of which, I had better get back to it!!
Well don't be afraid to take a break..
I hope you enjoy your day.
Your ironing isn't going to do itself . I actually like ironing and cleaning. I must be weird or something. I always found it therapeutic until I found running of course, nothing beats that.
I take it by this time it's all done . ππ
Yep all done, I cast the uninspiring lot on here to the side and soldiered on.. π
You been for that run yet? If your still looking at excuses I have grass needing cut, a wardrobe to build, wallpaper to strip .... but canβt do any of that as want to go out in wind and rain for my 2nd consolidation run, so if you could just get up here and do some of these that would be great.
