Finding inspiration

I'm starting week 5 next week, I'm a little nervous. Im not a very confident person mentally or emotionally, I am however finding an unsurprising pleasure in running (well a very slow plod actually) I find myself looking forward to my run days so I can tell myself 'well done, you did do it'

I've been reading various posts on here to seek inspiration to stay positive and I just read a lovely response @GoGo_JoJo gave to someone on here (apologise for not knowing who it was too) who was feeling unsure about incoming run, she said "dont rob yourself of the joy of completing that run without even giving it a go "

From randomly scrolling through I'm so glad I found and read that.

So many words on this forum have got me this far, I will have this in my head on Tuesday when I begin week 5

Just remember, you are all ready for week 5 if week 4 was manageable, I hated week 4 and then loved week 5, we graduated last October and now we just run, and really love the stamina it’s given us

Have fun, be proud and embrace the challenge, week 5 is awesome and at the end of it you will be over half way

A lot of it is physiological, I get annoyed with my head sometimes 🤣

I completed week 5 this morning.

Week 4 was a knackering slog.

Week 5 Run 1 was a joy. (The weather helped.)

Run 2 was a bit of a stretch. (I'm blaming that on Friday being a hot day.)

Run 3 still required effort but completing it was a pleasant surprise. At no point did I think, "This is too much."

I'm still grinning.

I enjoyed week 4

I think because I feared that also, if only a little bit, so was pleasantly surprised when I completed it so well. I wouldn't say comfortable but I did surprise myself
