I think the shorter runs mess with my head a bit. My body wants to slow down around the 80 second mark and it's only once I get to run #4 or #5 that I really start getting into the groove of things.

From my memories of the last time I did C25K, I remember enjoying the longer runs more.

But in the meantime, I'm focusing on form and a slow but consistent speed. Building up endurance!

Happy running :)

Happy running to you shrinkingjaz, many people enjoy the longer runs rather than the interval walk/runs like runs 1 and 2 of week 6.. after that ALL the runs are non stop.

Thank you! I'm looking forward to them but also not getting too ahead of myself. One run at a time!

I am loving the long runs! However you need the interval runs to build up strength & stamina and prepare you for the bliss of pure running!

Absolutely! I'm definitely understanding the need for the build up and I'm excited to be doing the first weeks if it means the later ones are better.

Well done.. you know you can do this, so relax and just use the runs to improve the discipline in your runs:)

Thank you! Discipline is huge and I'm making sure I stick to that this time around.

You'll be on the longer runs before you know it. Just enjoy the intervals. Well done you 😊

Thank you! I'm learning to enjoy them. One small step at a time!
