After a rest day yesterday I went back out early this morning for my first day or week 2. Loved it, but struggled with my breathing, hopefully I will learn to breath through my nose soon so I don't keep catching flies 😜

It's hard to run and nose breathe. I gave up. I swallowed a fly in my race last weekend 🙄
Just breathe as you normally do. It will all come together as you get fitter 🙂
Haha! Yeah, I struggle with this too. I try and do the breathing like Laura suggested when I set off running but it doesn't last long. I'm sure we'll get the hang of it eventually, though.

When you breathe out try making an O shape with your mouth, that way you control your breathing more and have a smaller chance of catching flies

Don't bank on being able to only breathe through your nose when running, but you can learn to close the mouth more as time goes on and breathing's a bit easier..

The first mile is still - and probably always will be I'm thinking - torturous for me with breathing. Then it evens out.
No way can I hold a conversation or "you should take three/four/however many steps per breath" and I don't run fast - I adjust my pace to my breathing
June 1st last year I had literally - because of pyshical defects and two forms of Asthma - never run more than a hundred yards in all my 56 years. Nowadays 5k is my "minimum satifactory target" when I go out
Slow....And slower still and going steady and in your own time and pace - that's how we get to graduation
