I completed week 9 run 3 this morning. I did the three runs for week 9, on holiday, along the seafront in Tenerife. A lovely place to finish C25K, but more hills than my home circuit!
Like many people who graduate, I never thought - 9 weeks ago - that I would be able to run for 30 minutes non-stop. But it is possible! And this forum has been invaluable for advice and motivation.
The most important pieces of advice I read and remember every run are:
1. Start slow and get slower - got me through the barriers I felt in W5R3 W6R3.
2. It’s my run, nobody else’s. Run at my own pace.
3. It’s not how far it’s how long. Time trumps distance.
My next challenge is the Park Run next Saturday.
Good luck to everyone following the plan, follow the instructions and advice and you’ll graduate too.
