So o.k. I'm a snail. But I did it! Can't believe I'm actually doing this at all. So pleased with my determination. Slower again today but taking on board that this isn't a timed race. I'm convinced I'm walking faster than running but I am out there. Congrats to everyone else at this point too. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€

Love the feeling though! Although next week I'm in Cyprus. Not sure how that's going to pan out. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Snails rule! Thatโ€™s how I graduated! Iโ€™m a follower of Japanese Slow Jogging, when Iโ€™m not using a podcast. Works very well for me.

I saw the video and loved the idea so have been doing my best to follow it. Tony Blackburn's golden hour sees me through 2 of the sessions. ๐Ÿ˜€ then random radio 2 for the final one of the week.

Well done and I concur that ๐ŸŒ pace is a great pace to be at and will get you to the end :)

Iโ€™ve been running for over a year and still have people walk past me when I โ€˜runโ€™ uphill. Thatโ€™s fine, itโ€™s not a race, itโ€™s a get fitter pastime, a way to feel better mentally, a way to make friends. Slow is sensible and the way forward. Literally. You are doing great, well done ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘

Remember we all started at W1R1 & we all said no way can I do this!! But step back & look where we all are now!

personally for me this is a massive achievement ๐Ÿ˜ I have always dreamed of becoming a runner & now Iโ€™m on my way! I also canโ€™t wait to give up my gym membership because being outdoors is so much better than being stuck in a gym! roll on Tenerife 2020 Iโ€™ll be packing my running kit! Iโ€™ve not long got back from a holiday there, so I know where I can run & how flat it is, so it will be steady away & I WILL be a graduate ๐ŸŽ“ by then, so Iโ€™ll be hitting at least a good 20 -30 mins daily, Iโ€™m working on my length of running time rather than the distance. ๐Ÿ™‚

It was you that said think Snail ๐ŸŒ so thank you Buddy34, it has really helped me ๐Ÿ™‚ - itโ€™s not a race itโ€™s all about enjoying the run & getting to the end with out feeling totally done in. ๐Ÿ™‚
