So that's week 7 complete, just two left to go and feeling really good.
Getting up and out on a Saturday morning for Parkrun these past two weeks has really added a new dimension of enjoyment to my running.
The community here in the forum have really helped me get through the plan and as I look to the finish line it's great to be connecting with a new community to carry on with. Was also nice to see a friend of mine who I've not seen for many years.
Also, I managed to shave 10seconds off last week's time which is always encouraging! If I do that every week you might just see me on the starting line at next year's Olympics 🤣🤣

You won’t do that every week though 🙂. It’s great when you first start at parkrun because you do beat your PB quite often but in due course it becomes harder (not least because the PB you’re trying to beat is faster by then!) All the more satisfying when you do beat it though!
Definitely, it really is a great community of runners. Week 7 is a great time to join as your running for 25 mins. And if you don't complete the full 5K in that time just enjoy walking the rest of the way as a good cool down walk.
Looking forward to seeing you on the starting line of a future 5000 metres Olympic Games final, although I don't think it will be next year, perhaps the Olympics Games in Paris in 2024. Glad to hear that you enjoyed your run today.
