One Step Beyond - your earworm for the day - you can thank me later

Feeling really proud this morning to have done something new. 35 minutes of the first Stepping Stones but also really stepping up the pace for the final 5. Consciously changing my pace throughout the run was new to me - even slower than usual at the start and then a proper running 5 minute finish. A great feeling of me being in control at last. Things are truly working and I am very, very happy to have this Beyond section to keep me motivated.

I haven't been in to see what you are all up to so I hope everyone is doing ok.

well done you my tech failed when I tried to do that run and am waiting for it not to be peeing down with rain to emulate your success.

It’s great when it all comes together ! 👍

It did for me today and soon will for you, too. We now have heavy rain so I'm glad I got out nice and early.

Yes I've had enough of rain - we had one day sun (rest day) and now have 6 days of peeing down to look forward to. But might nip out if the rain lets off a bit even for a 20 minute one...

It's been challenging weather in various ways for the last few months. Wind here and rain there. Amazing we have been able to run at all.

I couldn't run with that song in my ears, I would end up doing the funny walk!As for Beyond, loving it too, I have found though my pace has had to increase slightly which is strange when I have to run slower but end up at my C25k pace! Strange feeling that.

I remember (👵) when Laura announced the Beyond suite here. It was great stimulation, something different, and motivation for those crucial early post graduation days. It even had its uses for those who hated the 'running to the beat', strengthening their resolve to do it their way (which is better than not at all)
