W7R2 - Early bird catches the worm

So, on the advice of a few of you, I decided to go for an early morning run before work.

4.50 - alarm goes off

5am - get out of bed

5.15 - start the 5min warm up walk

5.30 - my eyes finally begin to open and my body wakes up!

I am really not designed for early starts, but I do feel good arriving at work after both a run and a cycle (I ride to work each day). Also, this running lark really is getting easier. I did a new route, and just kept going. Felt I could have gone on forever, which is a massive step forward from where I was before C25K as I couldn't run more than a few metres before thinking "I can't be bothered with this, let's just walk"

Thanks

A number of people have suggested running early in the morning is better than late in the evening so thought I'd see for myself.

I have to get out at 5 to make sure I'm back early enough to recover and shower before leaving for work at 6.30.

Now I've got to make a decision to fight through the difficulty of waking up early till I'm used to it, or knock it on the head and continue my late night runs.

Right now, I'm not sure which is better for me.

It may have taken 9months instead of 9weeks but I can definitely see the finish line now. Final push and we're home and dry!
