Anyone else find week 2easier than week 1??

I've Just done w2r1 and WOW,I LOVED IT!!... wasn't too sure about it as I struggled with week 1... So I slowed down this morning... Not loads coz I wasn't that fast in the 1st place 😆 but I was comfortable today and I really really enjoyed it!

I actually did a few more little run(well ,jog) intervals on the way home after the app had finished! So now.i know to concentrate on the comfort on the run an not the speed.. that will come in time I guess..

I did, and week three easier still. Partially it's physical because you are getting stronger and each week prepares you for the next; but in my case a lot of it was mental as the I just preferred fewer/longer repetitions than more short ones.

Slowing down really is what will get you to the end of each run. Well done you 😊

That’s exactly the way to do this - nice and slow. You need time to build the muscle for a faster pace. That will come in time if you want it.

Some of us stay slow -Japanese slow jogging technique slow!

C25K is all about enudrance. Speed will come! I have had the same issue with speed and am forcing myself to remember it's about strength and endurance first as my body gets used to running. Speed is secondary.

Glad you're enjoying it! You'll be surprised as to how much you enjoy the longer runs :)

So after one week you have managed to work out your own technique.. That's brilliant!

A big well done to you.

I only needed one hand to count down the runs, which I found much easier 🤣

Great job... keep that happy pace, it will serve you well.

Pace does indeed come in time, if you want it to. The most important thing, and why the majority of us arrived here, is running for health and fitness, for which there is no too slow.

Enjoy run 2
