Ughhh and yay! I was really apprehensive about this week, so much so I did week 3 twice 😬 But, it's a grey miserable Sunday, woke up on the wrong side of bed, been out and about with the kids, anything to put it off again...but I put my grown up pants on and went and did it, and I did do it! So flipping chuffed with myself! It wasn't fast and it wasn't pretty but for me, that's not what it's about. 5 weeks ago I couldn't even complete the whole of week 1 run 1 and did that week twice, and now I just did 2 lots of 5 mins runs and 2 lots of 3 min runs! And the cobwebs have been blown away and I'll look forward to Tuesday for my next run. Anyhoo, after all the rambling I hope it helps someone who might be struggling with the thought of a new week 😄

Week 4 Run 1
What an inspiration!! I got home from a grueling 25 hours at work (slept 6 of them) and repeating week one, didn’t think i could run today but my partner and i went and said we’d walk it if we couldn’t run it and for the first time ever we ran 8x60 seconds without slowing to a walk before the run bit was up. We came home buzzing and great to read your run so thanks for sharing
That's amazing!! Well done for going out! You should be proud of yourselves 💪 That was me 5 weeks ago, honestly it gets 'easier' if that makes sense, you got this, we got this!
Well done! I did wk4 run1 this morning too. I also wasn’t looking forward to it but actually completed it. Can’t believe I’ve been doing this week after week. I do find it harder the days I work and can’t decide whether to do it before work or after at the moment. Each day is different and some days are harder but we will get there!
Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and I recommend that you follow the link to the post about mental approach.
Enjoy your journey.
This is brilliant! I also notice like me you are repeating runs because you’re not quite sure about the following week! I think that’s a great way to reassure yourself. I am on W4R2, I did it after a 2 week holiday and I was on fire! Look forward to following your journey. By the way I am already planning to repeat W4R3
It's good because you know on this plan you can repeat a week if you need too! I do think half the battle is in your mind as to whether you'll manage it, but for me personally knowing I can repeat a week keeps me going out. Like you I'm planning on doing this week again! Onwards and upwards I say! All the best!!
