Only my 2nd run tonight but my waist and legs and waist are still aching. My brain is saying don't do it, but my rolls are shouting 'for the love of god, run!!'

Well done for 2nd run. Take it easy, drink plenty and have a stretch. Make sure you’re not going too fast on the early days.

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes advice on pacing, minimising impact and stretching after every run all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey

Welcome and well done getting started. Aches are just your legs letting you know that they were happy not doing this... they’re moaning, but they were made to do this. Nice slow gentle running is what’s needed... enjoy.

I did it, and actually enjoyed it. I strangely found it easier than run 1! Roll on number 3!! 😊🏃
