Because I’ve been on my holidays I hadn’t run for 3 weeks. I was at W8R1 but I decided to run W6R2.
Blimey! It almost killed me. I did manage to run it but found it really hard after such a long break. With any luck I’ll do better next time, lol 😂🏃♀️🤪

Just shows you that if you are off running for more than two weeks then starting again is pretty tiring as what happened to you.
A good week to restart after being off running for more than a month is run 1 of week 3 of C25K, however, if you are off running for more than 6 months it's bett to restart at week 1.
You lose next to no condition in the first two weeks of non running, but what does get lost is the ability to pace yourself......... which probably explains the difficulty of the run, rather than having lost condition.
Welcome back! I’m just ready to start back after my month of injury - I was at week 7 and I’m going to try week five, so I’m planning a similar reversal 😁 You managing yours has given me confidence 👏🏻
Since I came back from Spain I did a couple of runs. But now I’m away in Wales for the weekend so my running has taken a back seat again. Next week I plan to start again plus eat a little healthier to loose a bit of weight. I’m absolutely fine and thanks for asking. I hope you’re doing great too x
