I am still on holiday (without running shoes) but am planning to start this programme from next Monday on. Reading through all the advice and stories at the moment to set me up for next week.
Could someone perhaps explain to me how I use the app or the podcasts while at the same time listening to music? Also, where do you put your mobile or mp3 device so it is not in your way? Sorry, this sounds really very stupid but I am 49 and have never run successfully before... and really want to make it happen this time
Than you.

I use the app... just have your music in another app and start it before pressing go on the c25k. The app is quite clever and simply lowers the volume of your music slightly for a few secs so you can hear the voice telling you what to do.
As for the other question, depends whether you have pockets and how big your device is... Hubby just chucks it all in pocket of his shorts but mine doesn't fit so I splashed out on a small, inexpensive bum bag for my phone and keys.
Both Mrs D and I did the same, cheap bum bag and trail wire under your shirt to the bag so it doesn’t fall out/flap around. We use our iPhone music for playlists and start that off before the C25K app which will cleverly cut over the music to tell you what to do and when. Enjoy your journey, stick to the programme and keep using the forum 👍🏃♂️
