I have got to Week 4 Run 3 before I've realised you can play music AND have Jo/Michael/whoever in your ears at the appropriate time to tell you how you're doing! Having said that, I haven't tried it yet... Have I got this right? What happens to your music when Jo comes on to say the much needed "You've got one minute left!"? Does it override the music playing at the time. Sorry for obvious question but I am worried if I play music it will somehow stop the instructions coming through?!
Listening to music while running: I have got to... - Couch to 5K
Listening to music while running
On my Samsung phone, the volume of the music quietened when Jo popped up and spoke. You can always trial it by putting music on and then starting a previous run and seeing what happens.
Hi I have an iPhone and download the workout tracks from BBC Sounds they are 30 mins long and work fine with the C25K app. I really enjoy listening to music when I run, it’s a good distraction 😄
Spotify is part of my running life. If you're also using the couch to 5k app, the music will fade during instructions, then return. 👍
Spotify plays and the volume dims when your chosen trainer speaks, couldn't be without it!

Thank you all for your very helpful replies 😊 I will be tuning into some tunes on my next run in between Jo’s instructions!!
Yep, start your music first, then your C25k app, Music fades and trainer speaks then when they’ve finished, your music comes back on.....simples
Yes mine does. I have an iPhone and I listen to my playlists on Spotify. On C25k Jo is my coach and the music quietens when she speaks.
