Smashed it. Seriously though, the first 12 minutes was hard but then i started to settle and once I was at the half way marker I knew I could successfully complete the run. The last 60 seconds I managed to up the pace a wee bit. I am really pleased with myself. Bring on week 7. Looking forward to Tuesday morning and the start of a new running week.

Morning Twinkle9, yeah I faced a slight windy on the second half of the run this morning but as it is mostly level and I was in my happy place by that time it don’t matter. It’s great you have done your run and smashed it. We are now runners, go us!! Look forward to speaking to you on Tuesday after week 7 Run 1πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

Thanks vixiej, I am really pleased with myself as 6 weeks ago I had not run for a number of years. I also have a dodgy knee which is holding up really well as I am doing some strengthening exercises.

Fab! Strength and flexibility work is really helpful to keep you running injury free.
