Yayyy I did it and feel great!

( I got the real sense of achievement I was hoping for on w5r3 but which eluded me)

Looking forward to week 7 now...I think 🤭...no more walk breaks but I’m looking forward to building more strength and stamina!

Good luck just take it nice and slow and you’ll be fine! Concentrate on the podcast and forget your legs and let us know how it goes

🤣🤣 im hoping my legs will relax at some point but its def all good. I run at night when no one is about. Think because im embarrassed if others see me....which i have to get over 🤔🏃‍♂️

Get some good stretches in and I’m sure you’ll be fine.

And yes, you’ve definitely need to get over that! I know how you feel though, I hate it when I think people are wondering why I’m bothering trotting along at such a very slow pace, they must be thinking why is she bothering it would be much easier and quicker just to walk! But we know better, we know that this is doing us an incredible amount of good! I’ve had a word with myself and now I really don’t care, I give them a beaming smile and carry on! It really doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks, we are awesome for getting off our bums and looking after our health and fitness 😄

That's brilliant well done you!!

I'm struggling with week 7. Done 2 runs since the week 6 run 3 and not been able to get up to 25mins. Managed 20 and 21 mins. I've beaten myself up about it but am now of the mindset that I'm running for a sustained period...I didn't even do that at school!!

You can do!

WorkingathomeGraduate

Thank you 😊

And oh no, don’t beat yourself up like you say you’re running for a sustained period so that’s fantastic! So much of this seems to be mind over matter (or more accurately mind over legs 😉)

Try to relax and I’m sure you’ll manage 25 mins again. Good luck
