Week 6 Run 3

Tomorrow is week 6 run 3, and if I’m honest I’m a little bit apprehensive. I know I did the 20 minutes last week but the old nerves have kicked in again. After tomorrow’s run if completed. I will transition to all running until the end of the program with no walk breaks. Week 6 run 2 was fine with no problems, I settled down after about 5 minutes and simply enjoyed it. I even managed to almost run 4 k. Any thoughts from peeps who have done week 6 run 3. !!!

you’ll be fine. You’ve worked up to this day and it’s going to be ok. Slow and steady as per. No hurry, no need to push

Once that run is out of the way that’s the hardest week done.

Enjoy these runs, savour them 😃👍🏃‍♂️

I was nervous too. The answer is to start your run as slow as you can. This run is another milestone and shows you that you can do all of W7.

Try not to let fear overtake you - the programme has brought you here, you are ready to run for 25 minutes. (And you will be ready when it comes to 28 and 30 minutes.) The rests were a necessary part of the progression; you don’t need them now.

Enjoy it - it’s a massive achievement when you’ve run it.
