I had fallen behind in runs and enthusiasm for them. I decided to go back to the beginning of week 6 and start again from and I am really pleased I did that. It has got me back into the routine and I am enjoying running for the 25 minutes. Having 'someone' in my ear seems to make a difference to me so when I finish week 9 again I am going to try the c25k podcasts. Really want to get back into the swing of things. I want to enjoy running.

I graduated in June and ran my PB 5K in October, but like you Fifitrixiebell I have only ran a few times since then, it's not as if its back to the couch, more the lifestyle and life long habit of going long walks during the winter months as I have been since, well more years than I can remember. I still intend to run a little bit during the winter and probably will restart longer runs on my, what they call here on C25K your "runiversary" usually that is the day you graduated, but in my case, I will go for longer runs a year after I began C25K, which was in April.

Hi there, welcome back! 😀

I have found repeating sections of (or all of) C25K really useful after illness/injury. I too find ‘someone’ in my ear useful. Sometimes I use C25K in a flexible way- eg using W1 for slower/ faster running. I also find radio 4 podcasts great. I often use a Desert Island Discs podcast- they last about 45 mins which suits me well and give endless variety.

Happy running! 😃

Hi Fifitrixiebell...well done for making the time to get back into your running. Good luck, and you may find reading others posts and posting yourself on here helps with motivation.

You maybe could also join the Healthunlocked C25K group on Strava to record and share your runs with other forum nembers if you want to.

Welcome back 😊xx

How does Strava compare to Rustastic, which I currently use - the free version.
