Just finished week 5 run 2 feeling great 👍

Next run 20 mins non-stop! 😮 bit daunting to say the least but will give it my all!

Just wondered... how come after running 20 mins week 6 goes back to shorter bursts of running? Seems like a backwards step but I guess it is about building endurance without injuring yourself?

Any tips for the 20 minute run?

Thanks 😀😀

Well done. I've W5R3 planned for this Sunday 7.30 am. From other replies W6R1 can catch you out. Yep its overall longer by a few min's. Which I take it be getting you ready for longer runs. Good luck

Don’t worry I did it today and it went well. Sarah Millican was right, you are now training your brain that you can run for that length of time. I cannot believe I did it, but we’ve done the hard work leading up to it. Good luck!!

All you need to do, is what you are doing... trust the plan and believe in yourself... you are ready for each and every run. The plan is intended to move you forward...that is why each week is different. But you can do all of the runs...never doubt it:)

As Edison said

"If we did all the things we are capable of, we would literally astound ourselves.

You have it in you, you’ve come so far now. This is a turning point in the programme x

The best tip I know is to trust the programme. It is really well designed so that as the runs get tougher, so do you. Whatever they throw at you, you can handle it. Don't overthink it and you'll be fine.

Hi, I did the 20 minute W5R3 yesterday - surprisingly it was OK!! The first 5 mins were tough, I was all over the place and had to walk for about 45 seconds at around 4 and a half min. I nearly stopped but decided to just give it another go and once I started again I really got into my stride and ran for 15 mins straight, then did 3 more mins to make up for my little walk!! Seems bizarre but trusting the programme and yourself seems to work. I was also wondering why W6 goes back to shorter runs? Would love to know how you get on.
