Finally graduated!! Another 'if I can, anyone can' story.

Well today I have finally graduated, its been a long journey. I'll try and keep it brief. I started January 2018 with a new pair of trainers, extra strong sports bra and an inhaler. classed as morbidly obese and in my 50th year. Its took me until today, 18 months. I've been delayed by the weather (Too hot/too cold), holidays, illnesses and a pulled calf muscle on 3 occasions, for which I had to have 4 lots of deep tissue massage and strengthening, stretching excercises. My graduation run today was in 25 degree heat and guess what....I fell, 5 minutes from the end, flat on the floor but was I going to stop - NO WAY! I'd come so far and nothing was going to stop me. I have to thank my friend, who has been with me from the start, I think I would have given up after the first couple of runs if it wasn't for her and James Arthur for keeping me company along the way. Couch to 5k does work, it doesn't have to be done in 9 weeks but.. 'If I can anyone can'! :)

A..what a great story. Well done. You should be very very proud of yourself. We are around the same age and. I just completed run 3 of week four so it's early days. I love that you stuck with it. Knowing you don't have to complete it in nine weeks or feel like a failure is one of the best things about this program.

A very inspiring post from you Eckersley, o dear, so sorry about that fall during your graduation run, however, determination kept you going to the end, have a few extra days off, celebrate in style before you begin several 30 minute consolidation runs.

To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username leave a message on the July healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated from C25K 🎓 🏃 😊
