*you all for your help, support, humour and warmth
*the rain gods for not dropping one cold, miserable drop on my head on my graduation run
*the three delicious jelly babies that sacrificed themselves to the very worthy cause of maintaining my energy levels during my last 30 minutes as an undergraduate
*to my friend Ryan who got fit with C25K last year and ended up doing 13k from Bournemouth to Poole non stop. He introduced me to this amazing programme and for the first time in my life, I can truly say I enjoy exercise!
I think this calls for a glass of champagne (or failing that..a cold beer!)
Happy Friday everyone! xx

Aww thanks guys, are we all tipsy yet? Jennyn, yes, I'd like a virtual running buddy, are you thinking of doing longer and further after C25K? Burst Couch,I smiled during my last few minutes and kept on with the thought that soon I'd have that green graduate badge by my name on here!! Yes, I too will be running with my own music on Sunday and will start a B210k programme on my iphone that works with voice prompts over my own music.
Gems, it really is incredible how this programme supports you, stretches you, challenges your MIND even more than your body. I have really enjoyed the structure of the plan and while there have been a few sessions where I have really struggled and given up, I have surprised myself afterwards with how determined I have been to run that run again with a real fire in my belly to succeed. I never, ever thought I'd be the sort of person who would get antsy if work/weather/committments have prevented me from going on my scheduled run...I know I'm certainly not alone in this judging by daily posts on this great forum Enjoy, and be prepared to amaze yourself! x
Hi would like to get to 5k, they are starting parkruns near me and am considering having a go but a bit nervous, are there any near you and would you do one?
