Parkrun 9... if I can make progress anyone can.

C25K WORKS...!

Very rainy this morning and nearly didn't do my 9th Parkrun... glad I did new pb 33:3. Sub 34 Yeeeeehy.

I am not too sure how I did this as its well over a minute off my last pb a couple of weeks ago. I have also had to reduce my running the last couple of weeks due to family commitments and all I've managed are a week 1 run from Sami Murphy bridge to 10k on the gym treadmill and Saturday morning Parkrun.

The Sami Murphy runs seemed to be a bit of a step back because you go back to having 1 min breaks between 10min segments in week . So, I was surprised i have found them quite hard... but they seem to be doing something for me.

Another amazing thing is that on the digital scales... on occasions... I have weighed 15:13 stone. Sub 34 and sub 16 stone... there should be a band playing somewhere.

The point of all of this balderdash is this if this fat 52 year old exercise-a-phobic bloke can make progress then anyone can.

Happy running.

Well, at your own pace, relaxed: you might surprise yourself and even improve your pb :-)

Well done! Sometimes I find a few extra days off gives me some extra oomph in a run. Weeks that I have races that I want to go fast I usually take it slow and short on the running front.
