I started my journey at over 20st! I’ve been big all my life! I’ve lost weight before and put it back on again! This time I knew I needed to up my fitness! The thought of jogging really worried me not only the fitness side but what other people would think.
The programme has taken me longer than 9weeks and some weeks I have repeated. I take my dog with me and we have a little longer cool down walk after (mainly so she can have a play off lead).
I can officially say, I can now jog for 30mins non stop!!! That’s a huge achievement and I admit I’m not the fastest by a long stretch but I keep going!
No-one has said anything other than ‘good morning’ when I’ve passed them so please don’t let what other people think put you off! This is for you, not them!
There have been times when I wanted to give up and it’s not been easy by far! But it’s just learning to forgive yourself and move on from a bad jog, something I tend to struggle with.
Along the way not only can I now jog for 30min, I’ve also lost just over 5st in the process.
If I can give anyone advice it would be to look how far you’ve come, not how long you’ve got left!
Please don’t let weight or jogging in public out you off! Because if I can do it..... Anyone can!!
Officially a graduate!!! Whoooooo

Absolutely brilliant. Very well done to you. I agree with everything you said. I became a graduate this morning. Slow but steady. I'm also overweight and over 60!
Fantastic achievement, brilliant! And 5 stone lost? That's amazing! Give yourself a massive pat on the back, and really really well done for graduating!
Well done you! And 5 stone gone you must feel amazing and I really do love hearing those words “if I can do it, anyone can” it makes me feel like I can 😊😊
Well done! And look how you just slipped it in there that you have lost 5 stone,as if it were a minor thing! That's a really impressive achievement and you should be super proud of yourself. Keep on running, and loving it.
