After 2 months of hard graft, I finally achieved my goal. The conditions were perfect, with very light drizzle and a cool breeze. I decided to set myself a goal of 5k today instead of the 30min, though I did keep Laura in the background. I was running a new route today (although the first 1.5k were the same) and after the first 0.5k I realised I had settled into a pace that was considerably faster than ever before. I decided to stay at this pace for as long as I could, knowing I could always slow to a light jog. After 15 minutes, it was clear that I wasn't going to be far off 5k in 30mins and really decided to push myself to the limit running at around 6:00/km. I have to admit that after 4.5k I was running almost on fumes and blowing hard, but pushed on to complete 5k in 31:45. I am now really looking forward to the new podcasts to increase my pace, as I intend to use that as motivation to continue post grad.
I want to say a big thank you to everyone involved in this program, it really has helped me to improve my fitness exponentially. Now, where is my graduation badge?!

Wow, you didnt just graduate... you blew it out of the water! What a way to go. The time was awesome, but the determination you showed was equally so. Well done.
