Smashed week five!

My wife and I ran through week five, it went so fast and we both felt fine after the 20 minute run. It felt like it would be quite a leap up after only eight minute runs but we both did it!

Well done both of you! Many people dread W5’s leap to 20 minutes of running but then the dread turns to elation when they discover they can actually do it. After the high of W5R3 people often struggle with W6 R1 & R2 which look easier than W5R3 but turn out to be strangely harder work than expected!

Well done to both of you. 20 minutes non stop that's amazing 😊😊

Great job guys... now you know that you’re capable of more than you think... that 30 minutes in a few weeks isn’t so scary now!

Slow and steady into week 6... the intervals are a little trickier than they look, keeping the pace down early in the runs is key... enjoy

Congratulations to you and your wife on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K. Onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃 😊
