Looks challenging. I've just done wk 4 r2 and I'm finding it okay. I think if you'd asked me at the start "could you run 16 minutes within a 30 minute run-walk period I'd have laughed and said "of course" but then When you start to try you realise even 90 seconds leaves you breathless! Anyway.... have been fine so far and jo Wiley is keeping me up for it... but week 5 seems a big jump!
Week five .. : Looks challenging. I've just... - Couch to 5K
Week five ..
Sounds as though you're on course for a fulfilling W5. Having just completed it, I've found that all the work you've put in so far really starts paying off, especially regarding improved stamina and recovery time. Great work and keep posting 😊
Don't look at it. Just run it. You will be just fine.
W5 is mainly about managing your head, do that and the legs follow. Btw W 5 grins also some of the best and that includes graduation
Don't you worry about week 5.... you've got this far & yes, everybody thinks week 5 is a big one & it is....mentally....physically you are ready for it if you've completed all of the previous runs, but it's more of a mental challenge because when you see it you automatically say/think "no way....I can't do that" but this programme will have you surprising yourself all the time...I bet you're surprised you've got this far???? So you see, you can do it....AND YOU WILL!!!!
Week 5 is all about sorting out what's in your head, well it was for me!! Just keep telling yourself "I can, I will. I can, I will" and take it slow and steady. Very slow and steady and you'll love it!!
Good luck and keep posting your updates for us all to see 😊
