I struggled today. Got up a bit later than planned so skipped my usual coffee and just had water. Had to stop running in my last two 1 min runs. It is warming up out there too. I did 2 miles in 33 mins.
Do I repeat this run Sunday, or move on to Wk2?

How do you feel about it? I had to stop one week and got all worked up about it and waited for 4 days before I tried again and it was fine, so realised that I just had one of those days. There is no rush, I would probably repeat it just to make my head know I can do it! Good luck x
Thank you for the encouragement. I feel ok. I think I need to get up when I set my alarm, and make time for myself before going out. I will repeat it as I am not in a hurry.
I guess anything is better than couch 🥔 lol. And we are out there doing something rather than sitting around moaning about how unfit we are. Thanks again.
I repeated WK1 as I really struggled & just didn’t feel ready to move on...so just depends on how you feel. Just keep going, you get stronger every time. I have just graduated which I can’t believe...10 weeks ago I couldn’t run for a bus.
Just go at your own pace and move on if you feel you can. Good luck!
Well done you! That is amazing. Something to aspire to for me! Have you moved onto another app for 10k or are you happy to keep the the 30 mins exercise?
I have downloaded the Nike App which I will try today. I haven’t quite reached 5K (I get to 4.6K) within the 30 minutes so I want to stay at my pace but reach 5K, then I will try and improve my speed. I have signed up for the Park Runs, this might inspire me to go further, but at the moment I am happy with 30minutes 3 times a week.
No.... the idea is to reach 30 minute runs after the nine weeks... slowly and steadily..and having had fun...the name C25K is an oxymoron...it is catchy
Did you check out the pinned post for Newbies Essential reading for starting the programme
If you have graduated, then consolidation is the name of the game... mix up the runs... 30 minutes yes, but shorter and longer runs too. It is the lovely long slow runs that, weirdly, build up speed and distance
I hope you included walking in that... slow and steady is the way, and if you are struggling at this point, then you need to slow down...are you inside or outside?
