Hi
I got up at 7am this morning to do this although really did not feel like it. I knew if I didn't do it early I wouldn't do it all! Anyway completed it and feeling really happy with myself. π I'm now dreading Wk 2.π

Just starting run 2 of week 2. It's ok!! You will be fine...i'm going to judder, wobble and gasp my way theough it tooππ
Well done! Even if you have to fake motivation and just push yourself out the door, it all ends up the same - done β . Then you feel great. Wk2 is a bit harder but you are now a bit fitter, and I was surprised to manage it, in fact the same thing happens every week. Enjoy your rest days and then just keep it up. This program just works. Slow and steady, keep at it. Meet you at the finish xxxx
Thanks π I'm amazed I did it to be honest. Although I like walking the last time I went running was about 20 years ago! I think I've pulled a muscle in my inner thigh this morning though as it's very painful at the moment but I'm determined to continue with this program. See you at the finish. x
Good work! It took me a week to build up to W1R1, and I'm now just finishing W3. I can't quite believe how quickly my stamina has improved, as well as bone/joint strength. W2 is a step up, but it's manageable and you can take it at a steady pace.
We are the same. We start week 2 on Monday, not looking forward to it either but we ARE going to do. Good Luck you will smash it!
Don't dread it, you'll be so chuffed when it's done! Week 2 has slightly longer 'running bits' but there are less of them (which for me was truly wondrous)! Half the battle is always in our heads. As always, sloooowly does it. You'll be grand. Well done on nailing the first weekπππ
