I suprised myself today by looking forward to my run all day. Went tonight, all went ok few aches and pains as we were running round but then we did the warm down and afterwards stretched. Really felt the stretch and a few sore muscles now, but feel delighted that Matil and I managed R3.

Hi magnum yes well done. You are lucky you have someone to run with.

My wife wouldnt run which is a shame. Such is life. Keep going, Ed x

Do you promise her cool running pressies, Ed?? Maybe she will reconsider... I keep an ongoing list for Steve to refer to at all times. ;-) Gayle

Good for you magnum, well done. I was the complete opposite, I saw the programme as a personal challenge. My partner came out running with me once but I didn't like it. It was something I had to do on my own. Now I have graduated I might take my partner out running with me (although he's far more advanced, he ran the London Marathon a few years back!)

Welcome to week 2!! A helpful hint I found early on, here in this Community: after a run and when showering, run cold water on the body parts that seem to ache. It works! :-) Just be prepared! ;-) Gayle
