Hello! I've been quietly lurking since starting the C25k at the end of April and I have made it to week 7! I'm so proud of myself that I've actually kept it up and I think being 4 stone lighter has really helped my knees!
Up until April I was a dedicated swimmer however at 13 weeks pregnant we had some bad news that our baby boy had trisomy 13 and a large number of abnormalities which they said would make it highly likely I wouldn't carry to term. We lost him on Easter Sunday.
Not being able to swim I turned to the C25K having always wanted to be able to run. I must say that what they say is true... it's the best therapy in the world. I love how it makes me feel and has helped with my grief hugely. I still have the odd wobble and bad days where I feel like I've been punched I the stomach and cant breathe, but I know I can grab my trainers and go of it's a run day!

I so want to reply and offer support and encouragement but words fail me. I am in awe that you can do anything other that curl up in bed. It's great that you have found something that helps in any way. Good luck with your c25k journey.
