Having downloaded the app months ago and then spent past few weeks telling myself next week I’ll start - I finally did it - I completed week 1 run 1! Even though I was embarrassed to be on a treadmill next to Kent’s version of ‘the Rock’ going his thing.
I’m scared of failure but run 2 is tomorrow and I’m definitely going to do it.
Anyone else started this week?

Failure doesn’t exist from the moment that you cross the start line. Any run you do makes you fitter, stronger and a better runner for the next run... if the run you do doesn’t match up to the run you plan (or the plan dictates) then this remains true. So, fear failure... go to the start line and run! Repeat any run that you don’t complete... but remember that not completing is not the same as failing. Keep coming to the start line and you will run those 30 minute runs. It doesn’t matter if it takes you 27 runs to graduate, or 127... the end result will be a fitter, healthier, happier running you with a longer life expectancy. Enjoy your journey.
