Thatβs my W9R1 run done and seeing it was only 2mins longer I got pretty far in the time I set of at 2pm and finished at 2:40pm and I feel great it was a bit windy π¬ but nothing that I canβt handle a nice bit of rain would of been nice to cool me down lol π my next run is going to be Friday before the gym as I normally do boxercise and yoga then the gym so Iβm leaving the boxercise and yoga because I want to graduate this week looking like itβs going to be Sunday graduation π day yay π π

Sounds like a great run kevtrev! Iβm hoping to graduate Sunday too! Good luck for your next 2 runs π
Thank you and yes it was a really good run a steady pace all the way apart when going uphill π and good luck to you on your next 2 runs as well you have got this πππ»ββοΈππ
I have also just completed Week 9 Run 1, the end is in sight. Good luck for the rest of the week and celebrate on sunday your graduation day.
Thank you redcat Iβm going to enjoy it especially the Sunday run Iβm going to be so pumped for that run and good luck to you for your graduation π day
Yes Kev only two more runs until you graduate, nice run for you today, wise decision on not going to boxercise or yoga on Friday as you will be running run 2 of week 9. I remember when I was running that run, the last 6 minutes were all uphill, on the last 50 metres 3 boys offered me free tablet but I refused politely and carried on until the 30 minutes were up. π
Thanks Alan Iβve just worked my runs this week so I could finish on Sunday. And thank for all your motivation you have given me it has really help me through this C25K ππππ»ββοΈππ
Thank you Kev, I wish you all the best for your graduation run on Sunday.
Yesterday I completed the last of the Stepping stones podcasts with Laura, that was the 35 minute Stamina Podcast, 10 minutes of running at 158 steps a minute, then 20 minutes of 160 steps a minute and the final 5 minutes were 165 steps a minute, a bit tiring towards the end when I had to go to the 165.
I found a great app for pacing, its called "Metrome Beats" no music but you can set it from 1 to 300 beats per minute, so a runner can set it say from 150 to 165 beats/steps a minute while out for a run, sprinting could be higher.
The next run I will do will probably be on your graduation day, next Sunday, I plan to run a full 5K, that will be the first this year, I will set the metrome app at 155 steps a minute and see how I do.
Fantastic!
The rain put me off yesterday but I will be out tonight W8R2. Still going good
Iβm glad youβre still going well yes itβs better to not run in heavy rain like I did lol π Iβm going to always look at my weather app in future to make sure itβs not heavy if itβs light rain I donβt mind. Enjoy W8R2 you will soon get there πππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈ
