Graduated...YAY!! Injured...BOO!!

So I finally did it! To be honest I wasn't really in the mood today. Used the gym rather than running outside due to the air conditioning and as my leg has been niggling a bit I decided to just see how I went. As each 5 mins passed I just kept going - it was a really good run! Not 5k but I can work towards that. Came away SO pleased because I had been prepared to wait until next time to finish the programme but today it just felt right.

Slight downside - the niggling leg is now really REALLY niggling and I can't quite pinpoint where the pain is. It feels as though it's quite deep inside of my thigh. Any ideas?? It's ok once I get walking but the first couple of steps feel like I might fall over :(

I still like the variety that the gym offers me so I don't know if I will run every time I exercise but it's so lovely knowing that I can do it and I will certainly run once or twice a week. Extremely handy if away from home, no gym, etc!

Never in a million did I think I would be able to run for 30 mins and I am recommending the programme to anyone who will listen - in fact one of the girls who works at the gym is now starting week 4 and is always asking me about it like I'm some sort of expert!! Lol!

It's been so lovely to see others progressing at the same time due to this forum and I will use it forever to keep myself motivated and chat to like-minded people. Thank you for all your support :D

Well done! Don't be afraid to rest that leg for a while. You will be able to pick up where you left off...

Congratulations on your achievement! Don't know about the leg I'm afraid, but as BTX4 said, maybe resting for a while or doing something different at the gym may help? :)
