Well, it wasn’t easy, been raining most of the night and the tow path was mostly puddles, took a while for me to say sod this lark and stop dodging them, was splashing through them like a little kid in the end ...
Did have a bit of a scare when I stumbled on some slippery stones and nearly went ar5e over t1t, managed to maintain my composure, just, and managed to keep going ... though my time suffered for it, not to worry, still managed a 30 minute run ... who would have thought it 🤔🙄😊
Am planning to do a little run, in the gym, to help pad my week out, so that I can finish on Saturday, with a Park Run...

Nice work, Christene! Your first 30 min run! You're just a breath away from the podium now. Hope you enjoyed your puddle splashing (sounds like a lot of fun...) but do be careful! Like an idiot I slipped and fell washing the terrace by the seaside (how lame an injury is that?!) during the summer and it was awful. I spent the best part of the week after walking as if I was wearing a huge nappy. Don't do what I did! H x
Thanks @HeleneCorsa I learned my lesson, and will be a lot more careful on the stones... change of venue for second run, due to the dark nights, mostly pavement running ... 🙄
I know, @Sadeskin , I would not have got this far on my own, this group is more powerful than people realise, the support and encouragement, from people such as your lovely self, is like a massive energy boost to us all ... thanks for being there ... 😘
