...and if I can run when itβs -4 and snowing, then I can run anytime!π€£
Iβd just decided last night that I was going to be sensible and NOT run today because of the ice, and then I got up this morning and weβd had fresh snow (so safer to run on) no mishaps fortunately and so Iβve just ran for 30 minutes!... SO happy, and SO proud of myself... lungs were hurting a bit because of the cold air but once home I wasnβt even out of breath (tho glowing a nice shade of beetroot as is my norm!)π
Meeting my sis now for a celebratory drink (it is my day off, promise) happy snowy Wednesday everyone! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ

Well done Liz! Not sure Iβd be able make myself do that. Heading back into the blizzard type weather after being in warmer climes for the past weekπ¬π¨π
I want to go for a 630am run tomorrow, but we have snow forecast (βlightβ) which Iβm not that worried about, but itβs going to be minus temperatures and very strong winds!! Eek!
Well done! It's so great to run in fresh snow, a completely different impression when you run, feels easier somehow despite the bitter cold. Only two more before reaching the podium... Enjoy!
Nice one! I was quite looking forward to running on proper snow, much better than that ice rubbish - but the wind plus the windchill is insane up here. (I was even going to live dangerously and put a jacket on. I know, shocking for me ). Having watched the seagulls failing to move forward and occasionally being splatted into our building at work (deserted work because only a handful of us were stupid enough to battle our way in), I decided being able to run another day would be wiser! I couldn't run into the snow "falling" horizontally and having it behind me would send me into the harbour, so um, nooooo... LOL.
