Week 5 day 1

I started couch to 5k a few weeks back

I have tried and failed a couple of times to get to finish line because i would get heel spur every single time

This time i have changed how i run

I came across slow jogging on internet

I started following that practice and am happy to report i have had no pain in heel and in following the program

I ran 6 min at a stretch few times today per the program and ut was anazing

I will follow the advice of fellow runners and keep going.i was also concerned about whether i should repeat weeks cause after week 5 it will get tougher and longer stretches of running

I will advise next week when i get into week 6 if i can do it

It sounds like you’re doing really well! I’m a week behind you on W4R1 and I don’t know why, but I always doubt i can complete each run before i do it (“I’ll never be able to do THAT!”) and then I somehow manage to complete it! it’s turning out to be a manageable and great program for us, keep at it and keep positive and we’ll do this!! 👍

Thats what going in my mind too before every run...i cannot run for that long but then i do and i feel sooooo great

I feel sooooo happy throughout the day after i have done my run in the morning. That is another reason this app is for life for me now😁
