After about a year of doing couch to 5k on and off managed to complete week 9 last week. Alas I then popped my calf playing cricket the following day! Probably stupid to play on a rest day. Anyhow looks like a Grade 2 tear. Has anyone had experience of the injury and do I start at week 9 or go back a few weeks? It’s incredibly frustrating as right near the end and obviously I cannot play any sport now either 😟

Ouch, that sounds painful. Take your time with recovery and come back gently when you are ready for your first run, try wk4 Run 1 just to see how everything holds up, it is better to feel you could of done more than over do your first run back. Rfc x

Thanks RFC it’ll probably be another two weeks before I dare try and run so agree will try something back nearer the start.
